Try deleting map.rwm file in your M2TW/ mods/ Third_Age_3 (or a folder where Third Age TW is installed)/ data/ world/ maps/ base folder, and try again. If that does not work, then take Ownership of your main Medieval II Total War folder ( google for: How to take ownership of a folder in Windows 10).

If you want to avoid these future issues with Windows 10 and its future Windows updates, then I would suggest to install your M2TW in some other location on your PC, as long as it is not installed in either Program Files or Program Files(x86) folder.

    Good luck!

Sons of *******, leave that poor, war torn country in peace.
If you are a citizen of one of these countries, then DO NOT ask any help from me on these forums, since, in protest against this aggression by your governments, I do not provide assistance/help anymore.
Let Syria be finally in peace.
