A messenger arrives with two horses and a sealed parchment. He was blonde, but looked somewhat Dornish:

    Lord Waxley,

The war is over, and it's time for trade to be resumed in these kingdoms. The marble, granite and good stone from the Vale are famous for their quality, along some other goods produced in your lands. We offer our blood stallions in turn, horses that do not tire nor need to drink for days, surely those fine mounts would befit your lordship. We send as gift one of the best horses born last year, swift as the wind and strong like the foundations of the Vale,

In the Light of the Seven,

    Lord Dayne of Starfall.

"My good Ser," the Bastard acknowledged the ruler of Wickenden. "I do hope all is well in your lands? War can have some rather nasty consequences on the homefront when nobody is watching." Such as a brother usurping your title.

"Welcome Ser Tygard. I hope your travel was well. I have heard you might have some trouble on the way." he spoke. "The Southweald has been spared of major conflicts and problems" he confessed. "Luckily we have able stewards and my sister surprised with her care over the land. She acts as regent when the men are away."
Artys doubted that he had came all the way to hear about his sister. "But tell me, why have you come to Wickenden? Has your brother, lord Corbray some news to tell me?" Perhaps it was about this petty war on the Eyrie people gossip about.

A Raven from Cider Hall returns with an agreement to supply fruits from the surrounding farmlands in exchange for stone to facilitate improvements to Cider Hall itself.

A banner of a gold saltire on a black field appears, leading a small party of maybe ten to twenty riders, galloping up the road to Wickenden, a great cloud of dirt and dust in their wake.

As they close in, the banner more clearly holds nine black, riveted spots on the saltire, being the ninestars of the vassal Templeton. The men-at-arms number at 18, including the ser, says a guard on the wall.

Approaching the gate, they slow, expecting entry.

The gate was opened swiftly for the knight of ninestars and its party. The knight himself was received by the other knight, who was walking in his garden, giving a broad view over het surrounding lands.

    "Welcome, good ser." Waxley said.

The garden was upon a terrace, with parapets nearby. Templeton found this queer, his brow furrowing at the idea of crossbowmen lining the besieged walls while lilies and tulips grew at his back. The Knight of Ninestars, Symond, was dressed in riding boots, a heavy tunic, and a felt cap, with the heraldry of his house woven across the front of the shirt.

    "Thank you, lord,"
Symond answered to his liege, glancing awkwardly at a flower.
He held his riding gloves in one hand. A good sword hung from a black scabbard at his side.
    "You summoned me, m'lord?"
