    Default Nabateans goin crazy

They just took half of mesopotamia in the 5th turn of my Ptolemaic campaign. I canīt fight any syrian war because now I have a buffer state between me and the seleucids. not only that but i fear in 4 or 5 turns more they are going to wipe the out of them.

So the military access we have just made them invincible using me as the gate to their expansion and they continue to take cities with 12+ garrisons without losing almost any unit.

Is this vanillaīs fault or maybe the mod is not balanced very well?

It just happens. The game is random, certain nations can sometimes expand in random directions, since no two campaigns are the same. Are you using any mods except DeI? Major factions like Seleucids mostly hold for very long in DeI.

yeah, in my 60 turn Parthian campaign Seleucids are still pretty big, if not bigger (minus all of their clients I conquered) and in this particular campaign Persia actually rebelled, in most of my Parthian campaigns Persia stays loyal to Selecuids

not using any other mod. I know random things happen in total war but this tiny faction wiping the seleucids out of the map itīs crazy. I guess this is just a vanilla issue

Not, it is not vanilla issue, it just sometimes happens due to hundreds of random things going on. For example Seleucid armies might have been in totally other places. Although I hardly believe that AI was even able to reach that far in only 5 turns.

Well, they just made it. Im in turn 15 now and they stay where they are while the persians take over the remaining of the seleucids. in about 5 turns I fear Seleucids will just be destroyed lol.

If you want to face a strong Seleucid play the Anicent Empires Mod. It gives them all the land of their satraps.

Actually the AI is worse when it has more lands.

In most circumstances yes but doesn't regular DEI have all the satraps that rebel against Seleucid? They end up decimating Seleucid as an eastern blob in almost every play through I've had. In ancient empires the east is basically under full Seleucid control. Usually parthava and Bactria remain loyal and keep Parthia and the maruyans in check. In my Macedonia campaign, Armenia is also a Seleucid client state so they have joined the war against Egypt so the east and north are secure.

Edit: Looking at my current Macedonia campaign, you're right. Seleucid has only lost a couple of cities but has no army to speak of besides 1 stack. Do large empires just over prioritize buildings over units? I remember the same problem in Constantine and also Spartacus rises.

Rome 2 is a sandbox game, so every campaign will be different in many ways. We added quite a bit of things to help historical factions in 1.1 (and it helped a lot), but various campaigns will experience lots of different results.
