Lord Cletus Yronwood, Lord of the Stoneway, Bloodroyal

    Age: 18 (born 244 AL)
Marital status: Married to Alyse Sand
    Children: none
    Traits:
    +3 wealth
    +2 charisma

Thrust into the Lordship of Yronwood after the death of his brother, Cletus could not be more different to his warlike sibling. Studious and academic, Cletus is a very intelligent man, and would have probably been sent to become a Maester if his brother had not suffered an untimely demise. As such, he is often seen as living in his brother's shadow - not as handsome, or strong, or decisive. However, Cletus has merits of his own. Patient and calm, he offers a stark contrast to his brother's arbitrary wrath. His appearance only reinforces this, with his softer features and blonde hair the opposite of his brother's rugged appearance.

SER DAVOS DAYNE, THE SWORD OF THE MORNING.

    Born 227 AC (36)
    Status: Unmarried.
    Children: None known.

    Traits (9):
    +3 Duels
    +3 Joust
    +3 Survival

BIOGRAPHY: The current Sword of the Morning and son to Garth Dayne and Lady Unella Blackmont. Ser Garth died early of consumption, bedridden; he died young and had never enjoyed a robust health. Lady Unella was left a widow in Starfall, but where her husband was weak and feeble she was strong. Manly, bold, audacious, corageous and sharp-tongued Lady Unella became the true lady of Starfall, with every wife of her nephew-by-law being unable to oppose her. It's rumored that even considering the age gap Lady Unella has been the long time paramour of Lord Aron Dayne, whom she suposedly initiated on sex. Darkest rumors state her youngest daughter cannot be her husband's as he was already ill when conceived and is Aron's.

Ser Davos Dayne was appointed as Sword of the Morning by the council of elders and recognized as a worthy wielder of the sword Dawn. Besides his obvious qualities as a knight and his chivalric demeanour he is a plain individual with no agenda or ambitions on his own. He travels the Seven Kingdoms as an hedge knight taking part in every single tournament. Many wonder why he hasn't tried to join the Kingsguard, considering his upbringing, traits and birth, the reason is maybe Ser Davos never ever pondered the idea. He is a foil to his cousin's and his mother's wanton ambitions.

    Casca Longinus
    Born 239AL
    Age 23 years

Casca was born to a small family that never had much due to his father's gambling problem, but did have enough to go around. From a young age he showed skill at figures as he would calculate quickly figures for his father who ran a small merchant business and often times find the sum quicker and more accurately than his father. He was often beat for this by his father but never stopped engaging in the activity as it brought him great joy to be working with sums. It was at the age of 12 that he first thought that he himself would find employment as a merchant due to this skill. Unfortunately he was the last of three sons and as such had no claim to his father's business and no hope of a large inheritance. It was due to this that he struck out on his own at the age of 16 to attempt and find his own little nest egg by which he could start his own merchant enterprise. It took him seven long years of crewing merchant vessels while purchasing small stakes in ships and bribing captains to bring some of his own personal goods for trading before he was able to amass a fortune large enough to start out on his own with plans of owning a large merchant fleet. During his years at sea he spent much time visiting the Free Cities and much Westeros where he learned many of the local customs and languages finding he had a knack for those skills as well. When he finally settled on where he wanted to host his merchant fleet he choose to start it in Whiteharbour, for while it wasn't the best spot it was in the North and close enough to his past home for him.

House Manwoody of Kingsgrave is an old Dornish noble house. Its seat, Kingsgrave, is placed amidst the Prince's Pass, guarding access to Dorne. Kingsgrave takes its name from when the founder of House Manwoody slew a king of the Reach in the distant past. Prior Nymeria's War, a madman called King Albin of house Manwoody ruled the Red Mountains. After his defeat he was sent to the Wall by Queen Nymeria and his house became vassals to house Yronwood.
When Mariah Martell became Queen of Westeros and Mors Martell took Daenerys Targaryen as his wife, house Manwoody too got in bed with the dragons. Michael Manwoody became the third husband of princess Eleana Targaryen. One of their descendants is Lady Sarella Manwoody. She is the current ruler of Kingsgrave. Her aunt is Larra Manwoody, mother to Lord Aron Dayne. Her Elder sister and the heiress presumptive, Teora Manwoody was briefly married to him until she died. Making Sarella the Heiress to her fathers estates. She herself is the child of late Lord Ormond and Lady Lorenza Dondarrion. This union was one of many attempts to bring the Stormlords and the Dornish closer together. It was not particularly succesfull. Lady Sarella considers herself to be fully Dornish.

    HOTHER UMBER
    The Whoresbane

    Umber Born 238 AC
    Status: Married
    Children: 2

    Traits (7):
+1 Duels: Large and brutal, like almost every living Umber.
+2 Survival: Hard as nails, born in the North and forged by Winter.
    +1 Capture: Astute and cunning.
+1 Assassin: Open to murder, his wrath is widely known.
+1 Battles: Faced Wildlings and other threats for most his adult life.
+1 Wealth: He forged several links on the Citadel.

BIOGRAPHY: Hother Umber is the youngest son of Hoarfrost Umber, former Lord of Last Hearth. His father believed that Hother had the making of a maester and therefore sent him to study at the Citadel in Oldtown around 250 AC, when he was merely twelve years old. While in Oldtown a whore tried to rob him, so Hother disemboweled the whore, earning him the nickname "Whoresbane." The story is only told in whispers because the aforementioned whore was actually a man. Hother soon proved to be unable to obey or sumbit himself to the codes of the Citadel, so he left Oldtown after several years and few links forged. He returned wiser, more cunning and astute. As the youngest brother he inherited nothing when the late Lord Umber died, so he lives at the expense of his brother and nephew, Lord Umber and his heir, the Greatjon.

He acts as joint castellan of Last Hearth with his elder brother Mors whenever Lord Janos Umber and his son are away; either fighting wildlings or serving Lord Stark. Lord Rickard's first wife was an Umber, daughter to Lord Hoarfrost and thus sister to Jonos, Mors and Hother. Like every Umber, Hother is fiercely loyal to his kin and liege, for only Starks can even dare to rule the North, and to Stark only they pledge their banners.

    House Rosby of Rosby

    Lord Branston Rosby

Lord of Rosby, High Lord of Rosby
    Age: Born 229 AC (34)
    Rank: Lord's Bannerman
    Traits (8 points):
    Battles +2
    Pillager +2
    Scout +1
    Survival +2
    Duel +1

    Bio:
House Rosby is an old house in the Crownlands, ruled by Stormlanders, Riverlanders and even Ironborn at some point in history until Aegon's Conquest. From then on have they been staunch and loyal supporters of the Targaryens. Even during the Blackfyre Rebellions, when the very house of their overlords split in half, they marched under the banner of the red dragon. This loyalty have paid for itself, and the Rosbys are among the strongest and most important lords in the Crownlands.

Branston Rosby is the first son of Lord Galbart Rosby, though his younger brother Gyles died at an early age from a fever. The weak constitution of the Rosbys was famed, though Branston showed no signs of this burden as a child. He was sent away at an early age to get away from the perceived bad weather of Rosby, serving Lord Bywater, first as a page and then as a squire. He studied law, history, economics, faith, strategy and martial arts to properly prepare him for becoming a lord, as well as making friends with other highborn children. Soon enough he would earn his spurs and become a knight, returning home as a man grown. At the age of 18 he married Lady Elizabel Hayford, producing two children over the years together.

During the War of the Ninepenny Kings, Lord Rosby stayed loyal to the Iron Throne. While losing on the Stepstones, Branston escaped capture and returned home to raise new forces in the king's name. Marching with King Aerys II during the war against the Blackfyre rebels, he fought during the Second Battle of Wendwater Bridge as well as the Siege of King's Landing. With the death of Maelys the Monstrous and the surrender of his supporters, Lord Rosby returned home to manage his lands and people.

    Household:
Branston Rosby, Lord of Rosby, born 229 AC (34)
    - Elizabel Rosby (nιe Hayford), born 233 AC (30)
    -- Larra Rosby, born 251 AC (12)

Alright, will actually play Hightowers for the meantime, as HB doesn't seem to return.
He can reclaim the characters though whenever he wants to, as I feel that I should not alter the House too much with the current setting - always hate it when previous established characters get replaced without any reason.

    Color Code:
    Red = Deceased
    Blue = Main Characters

Through his appointment there, Rolland unofficially fought with the Long Lances in several minor skirmishes with them and the Dothraki. It was there, that Rolland was able to hone his fighting skills and master the use of his family's ancestral sword Vigilance. After hearing rumors of the Blackfyre resurgence in the Stepstone Islands, Rolland rushed back to Oldtown on the swiftest ship to prepare himself and his family, bringing with him his Pentosi bride.

He has served his family well, scouring his family's lands of bandits and brigands and maintaining the peace.

    Side note:
I'm aware that HB got with Gerold Hightower a gifted child by roll - don't know whether I should consider this or not.
I'm realiseing, as I read through the bio again, while assumeing that I should not demand for it.

And as well, I need to know whether you guys would be okay with it or not - I know that I did this at least twice on a Tyrell family during the past, if I'm not mistaken, but want to ensure it's okay.

    Lyn Lonmouth
    "The Knight of Kisses"

    Age: 33
    Marital status: Unmarried
    Children: None
    Traits:
    +3 duel
    +3 survival
    +2 assassinations

Lyn is a huge, heavily muscled man, with a gaunt face, heavy brow, and hooked nose. Long, stringy dark hair falls to his shoulders, and his thin mouth is often curved upwards into a sneer. In mockery of his less than handsome appearance he is often referred to as "The Knight of Kisses" although none would dare speak it to him directly. Savage and crude, his fighting prowess is as renowned as his brutality and willingness to follow orders. There is little good humour in the man, and he is often blunt and cynical in his speech. Leaving the household of his brother as soon as he became the Lord, Lyn became a sworn sword in the service of House Darklyn during the Fifth Blackfyre Rebellion. Lord Darklyn was slain in the final battle of the war, and after drinking his pay into nothing, Lyn has decided to swear his sword to the most prestigious knightly order in Westeros; the Kingsguard.

    HOUSE BLACKFYRE

    Blackfyre
    SERRA BLACKFYRE

    Born 243 AC (24).
Status: Married, to Daemon IV 'Blackfyre'
Children: Maekar Blackfyre (born 263 AC), Haegon Blackfyre (born 264 AC).

    Traits (6):
+2 Wealth: Learned and pragmatic, Lady Serra is a good and capable administrator.
+3 Survival: From the Blood of Valyria, immune to minor diseases.
+1 Charisma: Last of the Blackfyres, great-granddaughter of Daemon I.

    BIOGRAPHY:

Aegor Rivers was a wrathful, loathsome man. Always resentful of his half-brother, Brynden’s success wooing Lady Shaera Seastar only deepened his hate towards the astute bastard of Melissa Blackwood and his bitterness. Devoted in flesh and blood to the line of Daemon he watched as his sons continuously failed as pretenders, mere candles flickering with a breeze, unable to lit the Seven Kingdoms aflame. The bitter man married not for love, but for duty. Kinslayers, dreamy effeminates, fools and idealistic Blackfyres had subsequently died, one after another. And the old bastard went to bed with Daemon’s remaining daughter and for duty fathered a child, Rhaenys. Disappointed with his child’s gender and being his wife now beyond childbearing age, Aegor abandoned them both at Lys in exchange of ships, betrothing Rhaenys to Magister Ormellon Ormollen. With those, he tried to recover the lost ground after the battle at Wendwater, but alas, he died soon afterwards in the Disputed Lands and his head graced the Golden’s Company banner.

Rhaenys fathered a daughter with Ormollen, Serra thus called Blackfyre after her mother’s lineage. The Lyseni magister now had everything he wished for, slaves, wealth, power and even a claimant under his thumb, something that he kept well-guarded; fearing for watchful eyes and knives in the dark. Serra became a resourceful and wilful woman, quite capable of managing her own household. She is quite learned and cultured: fluent in several tongues, from Valyrian to Westerosi Common tongue, and in many topics, from arithmetic to astronomy. Wealthy from birth she enjoys being a patron to poets, chroniclers and musicians and keeps a small court with her favourites, all of whom covet her favour. Fair, tall, proud and dignified, echoes of her mother lay in her marble-white skin and eyes of deep violet, but her hair was bright blonde rather than the pristine silver of the dragonlords.

Her ambitious father, magister Ormollen, granted Serra in marriage to the newest and most unexpected pretender to the Iron Throne, Maegor 'Brightfyre' Targaryen, self-styled Daemon IV Blackfyre. Serra understands her role as a pawn in the Game of Throne and seemingly accepts her fate without complains… Does she? Only time will tell. She knows her husband's legitimacy lays in her blood and more importantly, on her womb. Soon after the marriage she fathered two male heirs for House Blackfyre, Maekar and Haegon.

    Karl Manderly

Karl, a short yet broad built man is renowned for the numerous scars which mark his body, received while travelling the Disputed Lands among the Essosi mercenary companies. Short-tempered, with the mind of a nobleman, he can be extremely arrogant and proud. They say that when he was a kid, he almost beat to death the stable boy for calling him a dwarf. Now a man and having inherited White Harbour after the mysterious death of his elder brother Maegor, Karl has set a new precedence by legitimising his bastard son. This move has strained the relationship between not only his own son, but also his brother Wyman.

    Harold Manderly

Harold is the legitimised natural son of Karl, something which has seen him earn the ire of his younger trueborn half-brother. He joined his father in Essos as soon as he could, serving alongside his father while the true heir was dotted on by women. Taller then his father, handsome whereas his brother is plain, Harold is a young, energetic, northerner bloodthirsty for adventure and fame. His black hair and his purple eyes give him a mysterious look.

    Wylis Manderly

The youngest of Karl's children, Wylis is everything his half-brother is not. He is short, like his father. A face undistinct from that of a merchants or common blacksmith and the wit to match. He is no fierce warrior, although he has not been tested. Preferring to keep company with his lady mother and old men rather than the warriors around Harold, Wylis is seen as weak and too fixated on safe desires by his father. With the loss of respect that entailed, Wylis finds himself at a dangerous crossroads with regards to the future of the Manderlys. On one hand he is the rightful heir to White Harbour. On the other, Harold is more than capable of killing him to take the same right.

    Martyn of the Peach

    Age:
    17(b. 247 AC)
    Marital Status: Unmarried
    Children: None

    Traits
+1 Charisma – Raised in a brothel, Martyn learned how to wield his words like a knight wields a sword.
+2 Survival – The bastard son of a whore, Martyn learned at young age how to fend for himself.
+1 Duel – Trained by the old Ser Felton, Martyn is far from being the best swordsman in the Seven kingdoms, but he is more skilled than the common peasant.
+1 Joust – While not the worst, Martyn's skill on the back of a horse is not something songs are written of.

Born a bastard and raised in the brothel known as The Peach, Martyn never held any high expectations of himself. His mother, a whore employed by the Peach, swore that his father was a either a knight, a minor lord, or a wealthy nobleman, but with his plain face and no distinguishing features anywhere on his slender body, Martyn never believed her. When his mother was busy with her “clients”, Martyn would walk the streets of Stoney Sept, the town in which the Peach resides, and would play games and harass the shop keeps, just like every other lowborn child does.

At the age of 8, his mother died of a disease related to her profession. Now an orphan, the local sept took him in and taught him how to read and how to write, and told him about the Seven. The septons tried to persuade him to walk the path of the Faith and become a septon himself, but Martyn had too much adventure in his heart and hated the idea. Whenever he had a chance, Martyn would try to run away, but was never successful. A year passed and with it came an old hedge knight known as Ser Felton the Wayward. Whether by coincidence or some divine force, Martyn bumped into the knight in another attempt to flee the elder septon's grasp. Martyn was taken back to the sept, where the elder septon, who had given up on him, told Martyn he was going to be sent to the Wall to join the Night's Watch.

Scared and desperate, Martyn stole away that very night, taking with him the brown robes the septons wore, and sought Ser Felton to ask him to take him on as his squire. Feeling amusement or pity, the man agreed and together they left Stoney Sept, Martyn agreeing to do chores and errands for him, and in return, Ser Felton would teach him how to be a knight. Many years later, when the King's forces sailed to meet Maelys on the Stepstones, Ser Felton opted out of the fighting, declaring he was much too old to fight a young man's war.

During the war, the pair spent much of their time and coin at an inn that rested along the shores of The Bite, waiting until the war was over. It was there the Ser Felton decided there was nothing more to teach Martyn, and promised to make him a Knight. They left the inn and were traveling back to Stoney Sept – for the old knight liked his jokes – so that Martyn could undertake the knighting ceremony. Along the way they were beset upon by smallfolk who had turned to banditry following the battles that had raged across the Riverlands. They fought the looters off, but the old knight was injured badly in the fighting, and later succumbed to his wounds. Burying him in an unmarked grave along the Kingsroad, Martyn vowed to follow in Ser Felton's steps and continue on his path to become a knight.
