I'll allow only 1 or 2 (preferably 1 if it can be helped) of those characters at max to be registered, one as a personal swornsword to Aerys (new Kingsguard) and one other random person. We don't want to encourage people just registering random characters for trait points unless they are actually going to be Rped with on a semi-regular basis (exception would be a son of a House who might not get used as much as some other characters in his House).

I have to agree with this decision and support it. Skylord, you may choose 1 or 2 of those listed and, as HB said, preferably 1. You need to rely on other people's characters who are also loyalists to help you in this fight, not just solely characters that you control. You have plenty of support from the Riverlands, Stormlands, Crownlands and the North. You could easily ask players for commanders from their respective houses/characters they control.

Fine by me. I was actually going to appoint one as LC of thr Goldcloaks, and I'll make one a Kingsguard, and get rid of the rest. I'll sort it out tomorrow morning.

    Master of arms at Nightsong
    Age 46

    Skills
    +3 Battles
    +3 Duels
    +3 Survival

Beric is the Master of Arms at Nightsong, and the veteran of hundreds of battles against the Dornish. He lost his right eye and his third son in a border clash against some dornish raiders, and has since harbored an immense hated for the place. Beric is widely considered an excellent leader however, and is well respected by the soldiers in Nightsong. His actions and skill with a sword saw Mathis's father name Beric the Master at Arms of Nightsong, and it was he who taught Mathis the ways of war. Mathis has a deep respect for the old veteran who he views as a sort of father figure.

    Lady Olyva Stokeworth
Lady Olyva was born as a poor relation to the Lord of Stokeworth, she is a great-granddaugther of a Lord Stokeworth and a second-cousin to the current Lord Stokeworth, the richest Lord in the Crownlands. Her father is a servant at his cousin's castle and her mother is the daughter of one of the household knights to the very same lord. She was educated poorly, and was only considered as a companion for Lord Stokeworth's children, but they had little affection for each other. She can sew nice dresses and dance to the right tunes, but has trouble with reading and writing because the maesters and Setpa's concentrated on the lordly children instead of her learning. Nobody ever thought she would be accomplish much. She has a troubled relation with her more privileged cousins whom threat her like a common servant. While she dreams of a fairytale wedding with a famed tourney knight or a dashing lord to take her away to his grand castle. In fact she was installed as Lord Stokeworth's Cupbearer. Now she is blossoming into womenhood, this job which resolves being around drunk men, gains her unwanted attentions. Old Lady Stokeworth is aware of these actions and wants to marry the girl of to another of the household knights to relieve her from this post. Ser Jon, also called the Redfaced was intended as the lucky husband-to-be. A sweaty, drunken old man whom never accomplished much indeed. So one day she wrote a letter, on which she spend hours to write it neatly and correctly and planted the seal of Stokeworth beneath it. And the day after she left the castle to her freedom.

    The Evenstar
    HOUSE TARTH

Late Lord Tarth was large, voracious and wrathful, a skilled but cruel jouster known to maim, cripple or kill his opponents with joy. The Thousands Eyes, and One of Lord Bloodraven brought him whispers of Lord Boros Tarth being particularly talkative about the fabled righteousness of the old Black Dragon. With the pretenders brooding across the Narrow Sea those were particularly troubling rumours that needed to be taken care of. Soon thereafter, a betrothal was arranged between Evenfall Hall and Dragonstone, brokered by the Lord Hand himself. Rhae Targaryen, youngest daughter of prince Maekar and Dyanna Dayne had to marry the old childless lord to appease him and every Stormlord who muttered words of treason. Late Lord Tarth, as boisterous as he was, lived only for a couple years before collapsing during a feast. He left a pregnant widow and whatever was growing on her womb as the prospective lord or lady of Tarth. A strong boy was born, black of hair and ruddy of body. A boy that was named Boremund Tarth.

The young lord was extremely stubborn, passionate and surprisingly well-humoured, quick to laugh but prone to wrath and melancholy. He seemingly was his mother’s son in everything but appearance. When Tarth was a boy still, hardly a wispy beard on his chin, he fell in love with a girl, wilful and beautiful as the morning. Her father was none other than Ser Duncan the Tall, closest friend of Aegon V. Ser Duncan, had risen to fame and had been granted Pennytree as a fief some years before. His wife, much loved, sadly died in childbirth, delivering the fair Alys. Tall as as a willow tree but pretty as the dawn she danced with the lordling thrice during the tourney. Boremund, struck with her beauty and notwithstanding his greater station in life married her soon thereafter with her father’s consent. Lady Alys answered Lord Boremund’s love and in return gave him an heir, Selwyn Tarth, a boy as large as a his grandfather was. On occasion of his daughter’s wedding, Ser Duncan forsake his earthly honours and joined the Kingsguard, leaving his shield and sword on Evenfall Hall’s armoury, where they can still be glanced among the starry devices of long-dead Tarths. Lord Boremund, grandson to Maekar the First has ruled over Evenfall Hall ever since.

    LORD BOREMUND TARTH
The 'Evenstar', the 'Laughing Tarth', the 'Bard'

    Born 222 AC
    Status: Married, to:

    • Lady Alys “The Fair” of Pennytree, daughter of Duncan the Tall.

    Children:
    • Selwyn Tarth (born 245 AC)
    • Alinor Tarth (born 247 AC)
    • Duncan Tarth (born 249 AC).

    Traits (10):
    +3 Charisma
    +2 Duels
    +1 Joust
    +1 Wealth
    +3 Survival

    BIOGRAPHY:
Grandson of Maekar I: thus cousin of both Jaehaerys II and Lord Steffon Baratheon. Large and ruddy, black of hair and blue-eyed, Boremund looked like the boisterous late Lord Tarth. Still, he was his mother’s son and very much alike her older brother, Aegon V. Boremund, lord since he was on the womb, was fostered in the royal court, where his mother chose to live and he grew with Aegon's and Daella's children as his playmates and friends. Boremund was a close friend of Prince Duncan, being only a couple years older. He was his most trusted and close friend and served his royal uncle as cupbearer. Lord Tarth was the one who offered safe haven to his cousin once he chose Jenny of Oldstones over Lord Baratheon's daughter, whom he had spurned publicly. Predictably, Tarth chose the love for his kin over that to his liege and refused to follow Lord Lyonel Baratheon into his rebellion. He stubbornly refused to comply with the Laughing Storm's demands and remained a staunch ally of the throne.

Wilful and amiable, he is a rather learned lord who prefers to rule over his smallfolk with compassion and care. Lord Boremund learned to play a harp before he rode a horse, to play the lute before he wielded his first sword. Boremund loves singing and once rode through the kingdoms in the guise of an errand bard for a whole year; Evenfall Hall is always filled with music and laughs. A loving husband, he has fathered no natural children and is devoted to Lady Alys in heart and body. Unfortunately, he is afflicted by bouts of gout and dropsy. His health is declining since the Tragedy of Summerhall, that killed his life-long friend, the Prince Duncan, his uncle the King and even his father-in-law, the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard.

    FAMILY TREE:

House and Character list updated with all above sign ups. Every region except the Riverlands has 2 vassals. I would encourage a second House be started there to give the Tullys another player vassal. After that, both the Reach and Riverlands wouldn't hurt for a third since they are relatively large.

    HOUSE DAYNE OF STARFALL
    "Dawn Brings Light"

    Lord Dayne of Starfall
    Lord Aron Dayne
    The Viper

    Born 216 AC
Status: Married, firstly to Lady Teora Mandwoody, secondly to Obara Drinkwater (annulled), thirdly to Lady Aliandra Fowler.
    Children:

    With Lady Obara Drinkwater:

    • Andros Sand (born 239).
    • Alyse Sand (242).

    With Lady Aliandra Fowler:

    • Anders Dayne (249 AC).
    • Arthur Dayne (born 255 AC).

    Traits (11):
    +2 Battles.
    +3 Survival.
    +1 Joust.
    +3 Wealth.
    +2 Charisma.

    BIOGRAPHY:

Aron Dayne was the eldest surviving son of Mors Dayne, famously called the Black Down by the smallfolk and his own vassals alike. Lord Mors had been a cruel, obsessive man prone to bouts of rage and depression alternatively. Deemed insane, Lord Dayne ended his life by throwing himself from Starfall’s ramparts. He left Aron as his sole heir.

Lord Dayne was married at young age with his cousin, Lady Teora Manwoody of Kinsgrave, only daughter and heir of the late Lord Manfryd Manwoody. Unfortunately, the plan to join both seats under a same lordship was foiled with the early death of Lady Teora, childless. His second wife was chosen for lust as Lady Obara Drinkwater widely was reknowned as one of the fairest maidens in Dorne. Unfortunately, she came from a relatively unimportant house and Lord Dayne soon grew bored of his wife, even after Lady Obara bore him two healthy sons in short time. Ambitious, Lord Aron requested his marriage to be annulled in the grounds of consanguinity and bastardized his own children with her. He had a far more advantageous marriage in sight: Aliandra Fowler, heiress presumptive of the elderly Lord Fowler. However, Dayne’s ambitions were foiled yet again when the old Fowler could father a couple sons before meeting his end while hunting on the Red Mountains. Lady Fowler, however, fathered two healthy sons, both of them every inch their father, and her dowry was still fabulous. Aron has developed some kind of affection towards his Lady wife since they married.

Extremely ambitious and greedy, Lord Dayne is a distrustful man. Ruthless to the point of disowning his own children, he has no regards or contemplations for those he considers inferior and his continuous schemes earned him the sobriquet of ‘the Viper’ among Dornish nobility. Deemed unworthy of wielding the sword Dawn it passed down to his cousin, Davos Dayne, who ever since has been the Sword of the Morning. Ser Dayne, childless, is extremely fond of Aron’s children, who look at him as a fatherly figure, disheartened by the cold and stiff demeanour of Lord Dayne. Dayne is tall and thin, swift-footed and lean. His hair is like gold and silver woven together and has hauting violet eyes, a trait nowadays widely associated with his house and those few with Valyrian blood, like Targaryens themselves. Lord Dayne was once considered handsome.

Name: Yros "Silverhair" of Lys, a former sellsword under the command of the Nine
    Age: 23
    Traits
    Survival +2
    Duel +3
    Capture +1

Bio: Being once a sellsword, who volunteerly joined the forces at the Stepstones to achieve fame and money, Yros learnt the hard way how foolish he was to underestimate the harsh climate of Westeros. While he was following originally the Band leader Saan into the war, he was soonly put into the host, which actively fought the Westerosi. While being used from his time in Essos since early age the art of war, Yros nearly faced his death upon the battlefield, as he lost his helmet and got mistaken by accident for the Targaryen King, Maelys fought. While fighting both his enemies and the comrades, Yros escaped the battlefield, severely wounded while not dareing to actually return to the host at Wendwater, stealing a horse and trying his luck to somehow get through this unknown land.
His way would lead him to Dorne, where news of the war just spread while makeing him not too suspiciously looking for those, who actually lived within the country. From time to time he was able to fool peasants that he was actually the King in disguise, while he escaped twice from taverns, as some noble sworn swords uncovered his foul play, resulting in him to cover his hair now with a cloak, while praying to his Gods, that the taverns would forget his face and probably the bills, he still hasn't payed.

With the war takeing at least a year before news of Maelys' death reached him, Yros now tries his luck to actually get accustomed to his newfound home, as he neither can't pay a journey via ship back to Lys nor has any desires for a return, as the people in Dorne were probably not better than his former comrades but lived in a way, which fascinates the Lyseni. During his travels along the Rhoyne he learnt that House Martell was the supreme House ruleing this kingdom - and thus, he decided that he might lend them his services.

    SER BARRISTAN SELMY

    Born 236 AC
    Status: Unmarried.
    Children: None.

    Traits (7):
    +3 Duels
    +2 Survival
    +2 Joust

BIOGRAPHY: Barristan was born the first son of Ser Lyonel Selmy, the Knight of Harvest Hall. He squired for Lord Manfred Swann in his youth. At the age of ten, Barristan donned the armor of a mystery knight and entered a tourney at Blackhaven. Prince Duncan Targaryen took pity on the small mystery knight while others laughed. Duncan jousted Selmy when no one else would and it was Duncan who gave Barristan his epithet.

Barristan received his knighthood at the age of sixteen from King Aegon V Targaryen after unhorsing Prince Duncan Targaryen and Lord Commander Duncan the Tall of the Kingsguard at a tourney in King's Landing. During the War of the Ninepenny Kings and before the walls of the capital itself Barristan slew Maelys I Blackfyre in single combat, ending the male line of the Blackfyre Pretenders. Selmy had to cut a bloody swath through the Golden Company just to reach him.

Barristan is tall and strong, graceful in movements, swift-footed, with lined features and bright blue eyes. Selmy looks every inch a knight. He is considered to be quite handsome. His swordsmanship is precise, elegant and fast, capable of cutting down even the most redoubtable foe.
