I should probably ask but does a Greek or Semitic character get to be at the Partition of Babylon?
I'm seriously considering playing as a Jew.

Yes all Diadochi of any race can be at the partition. Just come up with a good backstory as to how you reached your position of power. Just only a Macedonian could be regent, Hagen rolled to get the ring, and Macedonians have a few other advantages recruiting Hellenic troops.

@Dr.Fumanchu Sure thing, as Pyrrhus said all successors regardless of ethnicity (so basically everyone except Ace's rebel Greek, for obvious reasons) can attend the Partition. Y'all can have aux families as I said on the last page, so there's nothing stopping you from having a Macedonian/Greek main character and a non-Hellenic side char (or the reverse).

Any information on ship numbers for the added naval units and will they have marines aboard?

Hmmm...how does 5-10 ships/unit & 700/1400/2800 marines for triremes/quadriremes/tessarakonteres sound, respectively? Fair or a bit excessive? The Wiki article informs me that the tessarakonteres at least could support about 2800 marines, and I just halved that number going downward.

If you do 10 ships a unit except for the Tessarakonteres which should be only 1 ship then those numbers would be fairly accurate I think. Not exactly obviously, but within reason. And seeing as the costs are pretty heavy for ships, having marines aboard balances it out so they can also be used in naval sieges instead of just naval battles.

I think we'll finish the partition and then start the game in general. Because alot of important stuff needs to be settled at the partition.

If I'm not recalling incorrectly, the Greek rebellion (Lamian War) was not known to the Macedonian army & generals until it was fully underway.
