    Yeah, sorry but for now I too prefer without the music submod:
    at least for Lorien, the music cuts too much in parts, I don't know what has to be done for it cuts better.

    Fadeouts. Most songs on LoR CR are very long, so they need to be cut. But they are long for a reason, usually there are no breaks in a song for natural cuts. So you have to use fadeouts to make the cuts sound natural.

    It is an easy thing to replace the Lorien music with other music in the world/maps/base-folder just moving the entry for that faction to like the one in use by Imladris/Lindon in the music_types-file..

    - I am no expert about editing music, and tried to make the songs sound natural even though i do not have much knowledge in things like fadeouts.

    - Music had to be cut heavily because in LotR a song could be ten minutes long and include many different themes in just one track.

    For the most part it should be fine.

    But i read in the changelog that a few regions had been changed as for their names - music will most likely not work fine in those regions with new names.

    I will look into this and add the maybe three changed lines to the music files. Or there won't be any music in those few new or changed regions.

    In my opinion it does extend the experience, and most songs of old DaC are better used as well - but it wouldn't include the new songs of the latest release. Watch the videos on the first page for a preview of everything.

    I'd be genuinely interested in an update, don't really like the default music of Divide & Conquer anyway and yours does indeed enhance the immersion at least for me. Consider also implementing some fade out in the upcoming update as people are suggesting above.

    The reason i haven't updated the music-submod for the latest release is because of me still having 1.1 on this computer. I will probably update it soon, and already did port it to the "Lord of the Rings: Total War"-mod for Rome Total War: Alexander as well - beware that Rome has culture-specific music and not faction-specific like in Medieval 2. There are therefore some differences between the LotRTW-version and this one.
