    Default Quick Question about unit caps

    Can't seem to find where I can change it to be like the first cohorts X limit per army, but with as many armies as you got.
    I google and found the main units table. There is a campaign cap, but I'd like to change some units to be per army cap, like the first cohorts.

    There is no easy way to do a per-army unit cap. You can either script it for player only or you can create a new effect and assign it to unit sets. I have never gotten the latter to work properly, though.

    Thank you for your reply. I guess it is restricted to the first cohort. I'll leave it as is and recruit heavy cavalry from another province then. Was hoping every army would have 2 sarmatian cataphracts (however you spell them), but oh well.

    My apologies, I think we may have left those in for a very limited units (like that one). You can change it in the army caps script lua.

    I tried looking at lua_scripts>army_caps.lua, but unfortunately I don't understand it. The idea of being able to recruit as many cataphracts as I have armies, while having only 2 per army will just be set aside.

    I'll just recruit normal legionary cavalry. Thank you for trying to help though

    Its in the script/lib/lib_armycaps_main file. You can add/subtract units there.
