A wonderful translation of the Theban Cycle by Sophocles is presently on BBC Radio 3, and will be available by Listen Again after it finishes. Its a truly, truly wonderful translation and performance, with a good chorus, and great min actors. Go listen whenit becomes available.

I just watched the BBC production of Oedipus Rex. It was excellent.
The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be used until they try and take it away.

This is an impressively emotionally charged production; totals at 4 hours for the trilogiad, Oedipus the King, Oedipus at Kolonos and Antigone.

I should really give this a listen really - would be rather darn useful for my course. Too bad I don't have 4 hours to spare any time soon before the time its on the site is up...
