The title says it ... if it shall be realised, we need a lot contributors/new members for any possible departments, as ie.

- Unit Roster, researchment and coding
- Combat-Model coding
- Any Graphic files (2d and 3d)
- Any possible Description files

You would be part of the basic team structure from the beginning (more info when you have undersigned ).

To everybody above:

Everybody who is willing and motivated to learn modding skills can join, principle everybody of those persons are welcome. Modding experience with RTW or M2TW is naturally an advantage. Modding newbies should be able to learn independant via tutorials and their own experiments.

[I thought/hoped, i can motivate some more people, that i know already as skilled modders with this and other threads about a possible ChivTW 2 project].

Honestly, at the moment, i'm not sure that ChivTW 2 (on M2TW) will be realised.

The reasons are

1. Not enough Core Members
a. There is no core team member who is willing to be the mod leader for such a demanding project. I personally would be a dev/consultant, but not longer the mod leader/main programmer, due to real life things (also i would initiate/manage some things in the beginning-phase, and remain as Co Mod Leader/Consultant).
b. Until now there is Spurius (the M2TW BigMap Maker), who is willing to be the map modder, what is very appreciated
c. Eventually about 1-3 ChivTW 1 members (i guess at least) will join/continue on ChivTW 2, if such a project is started. But that's a bit too less for a core team in such a demanding project, as forming/managing a functioning team is anyway a hard work for the mod leader.

2. M2TW itself
a. I'm not very sure atm. that M2TW actually is that better than RTW regarding different things according to the engine, that i personally am motivated enough to start/initiate this project (but depends on the appearence of a new mod leader).
b. The patch 1 doesn't hold what it seemingly promised. Now i personally wait for patch 2

3. ChivTW 1 (RTW) [pretty less left active team members]
a. Will get first its attention for a final Early Era.
b. Will get probably a Grand Campaign release (with High and Late content) if the final EE campaign is released.

So in conclusion:
- I would set up a new dev forum ChivTW 2 (M2TW) immediately, if there is one new mod leader for this demanding project, who is skilled/dedicated enough to fill out this role (very good modding skills and management skills).
- And enough new/old members form this project 'coming alive and kicking' (principle independant from the now running ChivTW 1 project).

So, if somebody feels, he is a mod leader for a ChivTW 2, should pm me here in TWC or via SCC.

So I know you guys are prioritized with finish current CTW to 1.0 but please do not drop C2TW idea. I'm willing to join the team, and do research for HRE and not only. I have good historical knowledge on the nomads, Poland and have a vast interest in Western Military history. I've never managed to get a hold on on gfx, but am willing to learn basics and contribute to the effort. I believe in you guys!

I personally won't have the necessary time to manage/lead/code such a CTW II project. I'm glad if i get the time to mod/manage still a bit CTW I and also i try to help a bit Sicilian Vespers M2 project. More isn't possible for me.

Well, of course we would appreciate any of their help... but I think it's more about them getting in touch with us. I'm pretty sure that if they really wanted to help out, they would have done so. Plus if contacting previous members ever ends up at all successful, they usually end up leaving again pretty soon. ...I'm not trying put them down or anything, but most of whom I am still able to contact, have either lost interest in RTW or TW altogether, while the rest are not around at all... which probably means the same thing...

If I was still a student, I'd be more than happy to go to the drawing board and broaden my modding skills and acquire enough experience to take on such a task, which I will admit, at the present and in the near future, is beyond me....

I'm could handle no more than a sub-mod and a few little 'leg-ups' here or there..

shouldnt this be put on ice until chiv tw is finished? Youd kinda be stabbing them in the back to launch it now. Theres no rush since mtw2 has all sorts of problems to be ironed out anyway.

Not sure exactly who you are addressing, but if you read over the thread: no one has quit work on CTW for CTW2, nor is anyone planning to anytime soon... This thread is actually from December, things haven't really changed much in terms of our plans for CTW since then, but at the time there was lots of talk about M2TW everywhere, so the issue had to be addressed by the team and publicly in order to get an idea of what the general consensus is... and from the very beginning the overwhelming majority has supported the continual development of CTW on RTW, which is what we are doing...

HI mates,hope u do well in modding, soon i will upgrade my pc(maximum it will take 2 weeks from now) to join Chivalry 2 tw modding,and I hope DV has a work for me, also i am eager for beta testing stuff,i see that this site is the official site for chivlary work now..

anyway, i am downloading the last chivlary patch to see what i have missed, as the new chivlary patch is a good prize after a hard brutal exams.

can anyone give me a hint about a good graphic card

I actually cannot see or find out how it works (and forgot it in the meantime), but open your account, and try to find something under 'group memberships' or so (links on the left side in your account), which indicates Chivalry ... if it works then i'll get a request of Pal in my account, and then i can accept your group membership and you can see and enter the dev forum. Good luck ...
