    Default Steam issues

    Hi guys

So I had to reinstall DeI but it does that TW launcher freeze thing on Steam, and I don't recall how to get rid of it

I've had the same issue, repeatedly, using the standalone version (after the steam version kept having missing parts and/or re-downloading itself). The last time I solved it was 2 days ago after not looking at any Rome2 mod for 6+ months. I reinstalled the standalone, let the launcher hang half a dozen times, "set steam to be run as administrator," and then it magically launched. As soon as I knew it was working, I restarted steam to run offline and haven't turned it back on.

Most of my issues come from using steam online, which doesn't work in a densely populated city with a million different things knocking our connection off even for a split second.

Ok it seems to be somewhat random, it magically launched after a dozen tries for me as well. W/e, I m glad it is solved.
