    Default + missile range and + missile damage?

    Quick question. When generals, army ranks ect ect give a bonus to things like range or damage to "missile" unit's do they apply to siege units like ballista? Also some bonuses talk about "ranged units" What is the difference between a ranged unit and a missile unit?


    And do + ammunition bonuses ever effect Roman Pilum count?

    AFAIK there is no in game classification of units that is named, Ranged units. There are only missile units and this class is then divided further depending on whether its on foot or on horseback.

    I think ballista/scorpions/other large implements count as siege weapons which receive their own bonuses for ammunition purposes.
