    Default Governors (dignitaries)

Just noticed that sometimes my governors (dignitaries) loose their "govern" stance, they are just standing there so I have to re-deploy them every few turns. It's fine at the beginning when you have one,but later it's bit of a pain.
    Am I missing something?

Are you referring to the dignitaries being deployed as "governors"? If that's your case, I think I can confirm that this is happening to me as well... Although I have not been able to notice what triggers this.

Never had problems with generals being stationed as governors in a city though.

That is correct - they just take their time off - it's not the end of the world but just annoying when you have to check them every turn..

I have had the exact same problem. Even male a thread about it a couple of months ago. The solution that helped me out was to remove the DEI altogether (I had it by steam workshop) and manually install the DEI version downloaded from forum directly. That seemed to have solved the problem.

The standalone version is for some reason more stable in different ways. I have very rarely experienced many of the same problems that people who use the steam version experiences.
I for one rarely experience this problem with dignitaries.

I've never seen this in the standalone either, though my hours have been very limited since all music mods stopped working for me.

I have no idea why the Steam version would do it, but I have seen this happen in vanilla also. A lot of times it comes from dignitaries being deployed too close to city or army. When that city expands or a variable changes with the army, etc., they get knocked out of stance.

Same here. Happens every so often and yes it's being deployed too close to a city or army. Similar to armies knocking merchants off thier rescources in M2TW.
