Short Campaigns?
One of my favourite features of medieval 2 was the option to choose a short campaign, rather than have to conquer most of the world to win every time with every faction. While it makes sense for large factions like Rome to conquer half the world for the smaller ones then more moderate gains could still represent a triumph.
I.e. Short campaign could be If the Iceni where to conquer all of Britain, Gaul and a province each in Spain & Germany by the year xxx
In Medieval 2 even when you won the short campaign you then had the option to continue your game and go for world domination so it was the best of both worlds in my opinion.
Are there any plans to introduce this to DEI or is it not possible?
Awesome work on the mod though otherwise, it's 1,000 times the game that Rome 2 vanilla ever was and manpower is a great addition too

Re: Short Campaigns?
Yes, in theory we could change victory conditions to be a lot less and make it a submod. Thats actually a cool idea. One of the things we are working on for 1.2 is making victory conditions standardized and working on all levels, so maybe when I do that I will create some shorter campaign submods also.

Excellent, glad you like the idea Dresden. It would also alleviate the late game problems if they still exist in DEI (not had much time to play recently but always follow DEI developments so when college finishes I can get stuck in to a campaign!) keep up the great work

The mid-late game is going to be more challenging in 1.15 and 1.2. In 1.15, the population system adds that. In 1.2, we are looking at other ways to increase difficulty also.
