Game freeze problem - EE - only DeI as mods activated
Hello everyone,
the mod (yes, I've downloaded all the parts) is save-game compatible, isn't it? I own the Emperor Edition of Rome II.
I've started a campaign without any mods. Added some mods, everything went fine, until I installed DeI. If I now click on any unit on the campaign map the game instantly freezes. I haven't activated any other mod at the moment.
Any suggestions?

You can't start DeI mid campaign, you need to start a new campaign.

Thank you very much for your fast and helpful replies
So, "problem solved" ;-) But shouldn't the savegame incompatibly be stated in the mod's description?
I'm really looking forward to playing a new campaign with all the changes! :-o

Re: Game freeze problem - EE - only DeI as mods activated
It is clearly stated that the public beta for the People of Rome feature is not fully save game compatible and if you use the mod without this feature, it should be common knowledge that you cannot start a campaign without a big overhaul mod like DeI and install it without any problems. DeI changes the entire campaign and is not just a small mod with a few changes here and there.
Same goes if you come from an old version of the mod. Between major updates we clearly state if the update is save game compatible or not.

I think he is referring to the actual mod itself Flash, not our public beta. I have to say it is basically assumed that an overhaul of this size won't be something you can start mid-save, so I never thought to say that explicitly (and this is the first time I have actually had this question). We do say most mods aren't compatible with it, I just never thought to say start a new game
