    Default Modding Generals Skills

    Hello everyone!

So I'm new to the Rome II modding community

I am getting used to PFM little by little, yet if anyone knows a good thorough tutorial about modding/adding general traits i'd be glad

I am planning on revamping and expanding TTT; first step would be to add two trees for instance, second to change the skill points per level to 3, and ultimately, if possible in a way or another, create tier III skills that would require 2 specifics level 3 tier II ranks (conditions) and I thought if some of em could unock skills from ceasar in gaul in the GC it'd be awesome.

However, I'm a bit lost atm as what does what, and I can't manage to add .png files to the list of .pngs properly (won't go where I want it to go)

Btw, I am not working on vanilla but DeI

    Cheers

I just noticed, I meant general skills, not traits

I think he is laughing because you didn't wait long enough for an answer. Or maybe he posted a question and nobody ever answered.

I have never modded skills, just traits so opposite to you. However, I would advise first find a small mod that does something specific to traits or skills and see what they did and what structures and tables you need to change. TTT on its own is probably a good start or maybe one of the Meaningful Resources mods as they had to add icon

My best guess is you would actually need to script what you are proposing. Just start small and see how far you can get.

Probably best to watch through Magnar's modding tutorials till he covers what you are interested in
