Install Help Plz

I have been trying to install third age for all day now.... I have worked around many problems but have come down to a stumper for me... I have installed MOS with Third Age and replaced it with teutonic and backed up teutonic. I have copied medieval2.exe and named it kingdoms.exe and have replaced the original launcher with the replacement launcher. This is where the problems start. Whenever I try to start that launcher up it only takes me into the vanilla game with no launch options... so after that I tried to install the kingdoms launcher app and when I tried to open it it said that I must have installed and ran M2K and M2 vanilla. I have done that and gone through some turns in both vanilla and kingdoms but it still gives me the same message when i try to click on the kingdoms launcher icon. :( My eyes are hurting ive been on the forums forever and found no help to either of these problems.;)

Running MOS 1.6 Which i've been told by people it works fine with thatt or any other variant
