Faction leader stuck as admiral?
Hello, I am new to DeI and I'm pretty sure I've seen in some of the load screen tips that you get a bonus if your faction leader is in your capital. My problem is as Rome mine always starts as an admiral and since Rome is not a coastal city I can not station him in the city. Any way around this besides sending him off to die?

You can assign a new general to replace your faction Leader. This will mean that your faction leader will go to your pool and then you can assign him as a general.

I might be wrong, but what you gain from having your faction leader in your capital is close to nothing, if you have some other general with better bureaucratic skills, he probably will make much better use of your homeland region, though faction leader somehow applies his skill to whole country if it's correct.

Yeah, a faction leader in your capital gives some factionwide bonuses. It's worth it if he has the good faction leader trait, and he'll gain experience stationed in the city too, so you can level him up with those bureaucratic skills.

Or disband his fleet and next turn recruit him as a general.

Well with the People of Rome mod you will came in hard time as you cant replenishment your armies in newly conquest regions.
So a good tactic with the new mod is in fact let one of general, eksempel the faction leader, stay back at the capital and let him recruit new troppes by request.
