Re: Gayspy
I haven't used Gamespy for years, but is it really much different than it was back in the Gamespy3D era?
All gamespy did was connect you directly to the IP of the server, so any lag you received was the fault of your connection to the server. Same goes for any issues with connectivity. They weren't a full on hosting service like Battle.net is or something. I suppose things could be different now though.

Re: Gayspy
I won't disagree. I found their new interface to be crap and less reliable. But I'm still not convinced that gamespy is the reason why one would get lots of lag.

Re: Gayspy
I play on the Gamespy and the lag I experiance dipends on who I am playing. This leads me to belive the problem is not the gamespy service but the conection bitween people.

Re: Gayspy
Ur getting it all wrong.
Gayspy kicks the host after a certain length and terminates connections for no reason
