    Default Change in unit appearance

It's cool how the Highland Nobles looks like proper knights with an armour upgrade.

Can someone please post pics of units before/after upgrading? Cheers

If you want to see the changes, you can check them out in a Custom Battle. Pick the units you want to see, and upgrade their armor.
    Endure. In enduring, grow strong.

Um I was wondering if there is a way that we can mod some units to change their appearances tho.

Under the patronage of Finlander. Once patron to someone, no longer.
    Content's well good, innit.

In terms of looks, I think the coolest infantry unit is the armor-upgraded dismounted heavy lancer. This unit is available only in custom battles, for Mongols/Timurids.

I think the best looking unit(s) are the Brigantine wearing troops, 'Late' Padded, and the 'Late' chainmail troops.

Brig examples --- Venetian Infantry (without armor upgrade)
    Polish Retainers
Retinue Longbowman (upgrade 1 and 2)
    French Mounted Archers

'Late' Padded examples -- Halberd / Pike Militia (no upgrade, upgrade 1)
Yeoman Longbowmen (no upgrade, upgrade 1)
Billmen/Bill Militia (no upgrade, upgrade 1)

'Late' Chainmail examples -- Papal Guard (upgrade 1)
    Italian Spear Militia (upgrade 2)
    Pavise Xbow Militia (upgrade 1)
    Italian Cavalry Militia (no upgrade)
    Norse Axemen (no upgrade)

this late style 'outfits' seem to be the least used, and the least 'seen' just based on the rosters, and the fact that by the time these units roll out -- you're sure to have Blacksmiths and Higher most places so you won't even really see the look of em too much =(

I wish the basic model of the Italian Cav Militia / Papal Guard (ug1) -- with the Pig-Face Basicenets and coat-of-plate/heavy mail style armor had been used more widely in this game =(
