Campaign script won't run after adding simple entry to it, no error in logs

I just had a peek in the EXE for useful transgressions and found this one: TC_BATTLE_ENGAGEMENT

Tried TC_BATTLE_ENGAGEMENT: did work but only when I tell an army to attack another army. I didn't fire at any time throughout a settlement siege/attack.
