CTD on start up, no error message 6.4

Hi,

My computer runs Windows 7.

Downloaded 6.4 and used the auto installer, which placed SS6.3 into the mods folder as designed, used the desktop icon to start and loads a black screen which then crashes with message. Other times it loaded the background loading screen but then crashed with a small box saying 'Medieval 2' with no message.

I have tried disabling UAC and this made no difference.

I have tried running as administrator and this again did not help.

I have tried a clean install of kingdoms and this did not work.

The system log reports the following.

Did you run SS Set Up in MTW2/Mods/6.3 Folder?
