    Default Army attrition

Shouldn't attrition be in the game? When your army marches halfway across the continent, shouldn't you lose some men the sickness and freek accidents? I don't mean lose units but a couple of men from each unit. And the longer your army is in the field the more men you lose. Or maybe if you put your men in a fort then they won't suffer attrition.

Crusader Kings uses attrition. More attrition in enemy areas than in own areas.

This would be good IMO, but only if their was a way to easily return your armies to full strength, even if it costs.
The way the game works now, it would be just annoying, you would need to spend some millions of turns to get your castles units to castles and city units to cities, retrain them and then get them back to the army all the time. Why cant I simply draft some from the local villages huh?
    Let my words carry you:
"JUSTICE is a TEACHER. In your PUNISHMENT, gain STRENGTH. Through your PUNISHMENT, achieve PERFECTION."

If crusades can lose some to attrition it may be possible - its one of the things that I would like.

Whilst annoying it was also a fact of life - you can always recruit inferior troops (i.e. primarily mercenaries) to maintain the strength).
