unspecified error

can someone please tell why can't I go into the battle phase. I have all of the requirement and I can play the campaign just fine, but when I attack an army or a city and go into the battle phase it takes a long time to load and when it finally loads up it kicks me out and a message comes up "unspecified error...

At least me, all my hardware are updated. And keeps going on. Well, someone told me timmurids elephants gotta bug that causes this crash, It'd help if anyone could report under what circumstances it happens.

I seem to have a rather similar problem. My game was playing fine but then suddenly, it started crashing when I tried going into battles. Basically, the bar doesn't even seem to load and then it crashes with the error message. I tried going into quick battles, custom battles, it's all the same. Then I go into the system log and it gives me messages that it can't find a whole load of files from the UI folder and even the loading bar graphics. I uninstalled, reinstalled, nothing. Then I formatted, reinstalled the game and it worked, but then, it's back to the same, what gives?

I have a similar problem as well. So it helps to reinstall??? Will do, then. I saw a tip on how to work it out in one of the pinned threads above. check it out. It is in one of the two top threads, can´t remember which.

I can also play the campaign, but no do battle. I have not yet been able, so it is not something that just happened. The same for you Langyaw??

Mine has worked fine for the last few weeks, got reallly far in the Egyption guys the timiruds come and all of the sudden it closes due to unspecified errors. this happens when i end my turn and when trying to get to battles,

help please
