I am hoping to get this album for Christmas. Does anyone have it or have any opinions on it?

Eh, I don't know. I'm one of those guys who thinks that the Beatles' stuff is too sacred to be altered...........I'll probably get around to Limewiring it someday

I don't think I'll get it. I prefer to listen to songs that haven't been altered. In their pure, original form.

I'm going to ask for it for christmas. What makes the LOVE songs unique is most of them are not as altered as you think. Most of them are studio takes that did not make it into the final album. Then george Martin simply went and added some more modern instruments and effects.... though some songs already had the chorus style effects....

Besides, a couple are from their solo careers.... Such as he included the acoustic version of While My guitar Gently Weeps, which george did after they broke up. Except, he has added in a beautiful ensemble into it....

I'm looking into buying it, though it's not at that top of my list.

I really see it as a milking effort really. Its nice to see old stuff released, but not as full albums. B-releases now and then aren't bad, but I'd rather see them take the model of being released minus any kind of enhancement. If I get chance to borrow it I may do, but I don't imagine its worth me buying it Either way its probably not going to change my opinion of them
