Eternal mod

[the Eternal Cocoon]

this mod is mostly ( at the moment completely) a diplomatic mod altering the descr_strat.txt file. It should be compatible with all other mods ( I added a compatible version for bigmap users).

All the mod does is change the faction relationships at the start of the game:

england starts at war with France and Scotland

France starts at war with england and Milan while allied to Scotland

HRE starts at war with Poland, Hungary, Venice, and Milan

Spain starts at war with moors

Venice starts at war with Milan, HRE, and Sicily

Sicily starts at war with Milan and Venice while allied to Spain

Milan starts at war with France, Venice, HRE, and Sicily

Scotland starts at war with england

Byzantium starts at war with Hungary and the turks

Russia starts at war with Poland

the moors starts at war with Spain

the turks starts at war with Byzantium

poland starts at war with HRE and Russia while allied to Hungary

Hungary starts at war with Byzantium and hre while being allied to Poland

as for the relations ( how much factions like each other), I left them the same more or less but I made them more extreme, so the factions that disliked each other hate each other, and visa versa.

I don't know how historically accurate any of this is, as all I have to go off of are flimsy recollections of hazy lectures, but nonetheless I think it makes for a funner game.

to install:
simply drag the data folder into your MTW2 folder. There is a version for both vanilla map users and bigmap users.

*note I made the bigmap compatible version from bigmap .99D. It should still be compatible with version F, but no the new era maps he is releasing.
