thank you
Before starting to play I want to know some things.
- How the civil war now, what I have to be careful to avoid it (with Rome)?
- The treasure is still poor or the economy has been made less dificult? any suggestions to avoid ending up in bankruptcy?
Thanks 1000
I think Civil war mechanic hasn't been touched since when you played last. Just try to balance power in early game that way you should be save and have no civil war for the whole campaign.
Economy can be still be difficult, it wasn't made easier in any way. Try to build up your cities first before going to war or even before recruiting any units. Build tradeports, don't have a big standing army in the beginning and send a ship around to make trade
agreements. That should solve all monetary problems!
But still I recommend playing again after such a hiatus. Much has improved and the addition of the supply system adds a new layer to the game but frankly it doesn't make things easier![]()
the refueling system of hosts is complicated I do not it is very clear how to supply fleets and armies on the move
I did not understand this point
Furthermore, regions on the supply line must be eligible, otherwise the supply route is blocked. Eligibility is determined by multiple factors including:
Region containing the strategic depot not out of local supplies.
however, doing a summary:
- Armies / fleets consume foods even if they are still in a region and we must ensure that the region can sustain them and how old, exhausted the resources necessary to move the army
- Build buildings that increase the production to support armies and shorten the supply lines to the frontiers
- There are units noncombatants to join armies / fleets to supply them with furnished and have modern but have a limit of years of autonomy after the units wear out
Question: how to supply the fueling units? just bring the army / navy in the city / port with dedicated esifici although allies?
Check the supply system manual! That should answer your questions:

Economy isn't very difficult at all, IMO. I always end up with practically unlimited money by mid game because region specialization is so powerful. I think stacking bonuses (not just economy) into regions is too powerful, in fact. The AI can't do it and despite its ridiculous income boosts, it can't compete with well developed player provinces. Military provinces are even worse, as a late game four province region can pump out units with double gold chevron exp and like +30% to several stats that eat anything the AI can field for breakfast.
This greatly skews the difficulty curve of the game in general. Early game, when you can't afford to specialize as much, is much more difficult than later stages of the game where your economy and military efficiency begin to eclipse even large AI factions.
