Age of Charlemagne: Shieldmaidens?

Is anyone working on a shieldmaiden mod for the Danes? Or know if there's a Daughters of Mars-style DLC coming for AoC?

no, likely because shieldmaidens stayed back and defended the camp, they didn't march into the frontlines.

Well, and Denmark never conquered Egypt, but the TW games allow for that.

There is also the 97 New Units AoC Pack. It includes shieldsmaidens.

While the unit pack is nice, 97 new units is way too much for my personal taste

I like the AoC rosters with factions being very unique such as Danes having only infantry. And that most factions got 2-3 low tier units, 2 mid tier unit and 2 elite units.
I feel it gets way too crowded with every faction having +30 units, so hopefully someday a shieldsmaiden only mod gets released

Or maybe a mod with only a few new units to compliment the different rosters.
