    Default Diseased Cows?

What exactly happens when you launch diseased cow carcasses from your trebuchets? I notice that the enemy troop banners start flashing a sickly green color, but nothing much else happens. I don't see them dying in droves, or anything. What does it do? Lower their morale? Fatigue them?

There have been topics on this. It lowers the enemy's morale so they break easier.
Fight to the last man or you are not truly the brave warriors you say you are!

It just lowers moral. Don't walk your troops over the corpses because it'll affect your troops as well. It's a pretty pointless feature, but you might as well use them, because they come from a seperate ammo pool, so won't deplete your normal/flaming ammo pool.

Anyone actually catch a cow landing on a unit of enemy troops? Classic.

Yep, the first time I saw a Diseased Cow ingame I was doing the Desert Sanctuary scenario. We were penned up at the top level and all of a sudden one of the Arab trebuchets flings something black and strangely shaped into the top level and lands it square in one of my formations, flattening a single guy. I had expected to hear a crash followed by several more soldiers being trounced by the rolling boulder, but instead there was a wet impact and on top of the incapacitated victim was a big, squishy cow carcass buzzing with flies. Nice.

So, it just temporarily lowers morale. Nothing else?
