Gothic Knights

How do you get DISMOUNTED gothic knights? I am able to get mounted but no infanrty of them

Dismounted Knights are entirely different units from their mounted counterparts, unlike in MTW where you just had knights and the ability to dismount them as needed.

I don't know the build tree for the Germans off hand, but if they're like the other factions, you probably need to upgrade the castle Barracks to a level that can build them. Check the construction browser to see what structures can train what units.

I think its a bug, i am unable to recuit them aswell, even when i am max out..

When I was playing HRE I could recrute them all I wanted. You need a Citidell and the acosiated baraks biulding, but I can't seem to remember what that is called, armory may be but not sure.

You can get Dismounted Imperial Knights in the campaign, but cannot recruit Dismounted Gothics. A pity, but Zweihanders make up for it.

U cannot recuit Dismounted Gothic knight, is this a bug..?

Yes, it is a bug. It wouldn't be if we had access to the unnecessarily packed .txt files. We have to wait to till the patch before we can fix it ourselves (if they happen to not).

Ah, I was confused with the hole imperial and gothic knight thing there. I have never seen them used or used them in campagin so it must be buged like you guys are thinking. It is a shame realy, I use them frequently in custom and multyplayer battels, they are a fierce foce.
