In Medieval 2 Kingdoms (Vanilla) I have tried to start a multiplayer game (PC) with a friend (Mac) and they were incompatible. I know Med 2 has just come to Mac, but, will this feature be fixed or does it stay that way? If I can also ask if this is the same with other games like mount and blade: warband and Attila?
The other day I had my first taste of Third Age Multiplayer, which was great. However, when I went to play it in singleplayer most of the files were missing including the .bat file to run it. Also pretty much all of the files and folders in data were gone, including all the historical battles from the base game and the ones from youtube, I installed. Instead in the Third_Age_3/data/world/maps/battle/custom (which is the historical and multiplayer maps) there were two folders: (2v2)_lake_peipus_mp and (2v2)_village_vilnius_mp these are new, I did not put these here. So my question is, was I hacked, or is this common practise in multiplayer servers?
I have since deleted third age and reinstalled it.
I have also saved a seige replay in the mod: Westeros: Reign of Petty Kings. However, the AI attacking me acts differently, how is this possible if this is a saved replay?????????? Any Ideas??
Any help in these matters would be appreciated
The top two of these problems were posted in steam's discussion, with no answer.
Thanks
