Advise please :)

Hello everyone,

Firstly sorry if I am posting in the wrong place.
Secondly, I'd like to say that this mod looks great, along with all the submods.
That said, I have tried to install this mod twice now, following instructions as best I can, but I cannot get 6.4 to work. The mod loads up but crashes when I try to start a campaign. I installed 6.3 first and it worked fine, but the 6.4 install does not want to co-operate. Any advise?

Can you give more details about what's happening when you try to install the v6.4 patch?

Okay, so when I go into the SS setup, choose the campaign, and preferences, I get an error message saying error whilst trying to create a temporary file, operation aborted. The mod will start then go to the main SS 6.4 screen but upon trying to start a campaign I get an error message say tw encountered an unspecified error and will now close.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything from scratch? Tedious as hell, I know, but it works.

Windows 8.1

Have you disabled your UAC?
Did you install by right click and 'Run As Admin'?

Do you disable UAC whilst installing SS 6.3+6.4?
I've tried running as 'run as admin' with UAC disabled. However it was not disabled when it was installed. Should I uninstall and do this?
