Fog of War

I'm used to playing RTW, RTR, and EB with the Fog Of War turned off. As I like to see what's going on all over the map, is it possible to turn the FOW off?

And speaking of FoW. I think it's FoWs should only shroud units not cities. I mean you shouldn't have to have been there to know where a city is. People talk, news travel, if a nearby city has changed hands, you should know be able to know about it without having someone there for a look. I'd settle for a delayed auto-map information thing if you know I'm saying.

I don't care if it's a cheat; I play strictly single player. How do you do it please.

Open console in campaign map, type in:

toggle_fow

et voila.

(To open console use ' (Abbreviation) for UK keyboards and ` (Tilde) for US ones.)

"toggle_fow" to console does the trick.
