To some of the questions:

Yes rivendel will have a small population and only recruit elite units, these other units only become available as you expand through the whole "restoration of hope".
Also these units were mainly put in for custom battle/multiplayer balance, as this is what our team is focusing on until we get more campaign modding tools.


No they will not be a lindon look a like, Lindon has a totally different roster with different theme, you will see when it is released.

Still not sure how Imladris will go in Campaign but like i said we are focusing on multiplayer and custom battle stuff right now.

Of couse it's a very better roster, good work. More complete and balanced. I appreciate so much that you have considered user's opinions. Anyway I think that we'll really understand it once you will show the Lindon roster.

I can already tell you that Lindon is still quite far down the road. Some others will come first. But don't worry. The rosters fit to the nature of the faction. Lindon is a seafaring nation and not so much a guerrilla faction.

looks awesome much better then before however the heavy spear unit for me should be replaced by a sword and shield unit with a relatively low defense (for an elite elf) and given to Lindon to separate there rosters and make them different from each other so Imladris is the aggressive high elves and Lindon the more defensive. that's just my opinion because the DAC team sort of didn't do that and it's my fear that some of the factions will just be copy and paste of each other

They are focusing on: Dale, Gondor, Imladris, Mordor, Isengard at the moment.

I'm pretty sure the Long-Spears are going to be like halberdiers, as in their weapon is half the length of a pike but they use pike formation, whereas the Guards of Imladris will use full length pikes like the sarissa.

No-one is working on the Elves at the moment because they're not going to be in the alpha. Only Mordor, Isengard, Gondor, Dale and Rohan are. Of these, only Dale and Gondor are complete/nearly complete because we don't have enough skilled dedicated 3D Unit Modellers.
