Game screen moves too fast, crashes in battle

Hello I am trying to play the awesome med 2 game and my problem is that the game screen moves too fast regardless of the scroll speed limit, except when I use the sync option and then during the battles it just freezes and crashes, though if I I let it do it in the super fast mode it runs it smoothly through the whole battle.....

I've recently upgraded to windows 10, is there something else I need to do like modify an settings file or install some some sort of special mod that prevents this problem ?

Please reply and I would be very gratefull if someone if someone can help me solve this problem ?

Using the arrows results in fast screen moves and the smaller the resolution the faster the move.
Try getting used to using the keyboard for window scrolling.

The sync option is something I really don't recommend - but then that's personal experience.
