    Good day, everyone!

    Finally, I can proudly present to you the fruit of my recent work.

    First French unit, the grenadier company of Royal Deux Ponts Regiment is now in-game

    The process of importing this new custom model in-game was full of challenges. especially during rigging, which resulted in the delay.
    With this out of the way, I'll add equipment and run some more tests to weed out as many clipping issues as possible before moving to the fusilier model and completing the infantry segment of French expeditionary force roster. I'll also experiment a bit more with textures, to ensure that Royal French white is white enough, but doesn't shine too much.
    That's it for today's update
    Let me know what you think, gentlemen!

    Is this mod a continunation or should I say an improvement of the units in the TAR mod, which is a dead mod now?

    I'll test this mod when I can and right now I'm involved in a project for a different game, so I don't have much time left to play a modded ETW. Nice work with the units!

    This is neither a continuation or improvement over TAR. RoAR is a completely standalone independent project with different objectives, which are to recreate most notable regiments of the war with maximum reasonable degree of historical accuracy, level of visual detail and quality.

    Additionally, a different projectiles and morale system is implemented and being improved to allow for longer engagements.
    Custom campaign is in the works but is not a priority due to my lack of ESF editing knowledge.

    P.S I am glad you like the units in RoAR. Good luck with your project!

    Great new units One small note, I would lower the bearskins, now it seems a bit as if they were almost falling down from the heads. But apart of this the bearskins are amazing, so much details

    HighOnTea,

    Wow, just, wow! Empire is my favourite time period. I have just begun to use blender in the hope i could create more detail on the units, but these are just exquisite! Splendid job, sir! If i could rep you, i would.
    I have a question though, Would i be able use these models and textures for personal use? (not sure i have the skills to do so though) I wish to use them as regular troops in my campaign.

    These are awesome looking units. I would love to see this as a submod for Imperial Splendour. Is anyone working on that?

    I am aiming for V3 release on 4th of July, but with the time and work I have left it might be a bit too optimistic.

    To give you an idea what's I am working on, here is a short list:
    1) Complete replacement of vanilla and IS models that I borrowed for V2. I have already completed most of the work there, but will still have to add more headwear assets;
    2) Full unit rosters for British and US, Hessian, French and Spanish rosters with decent variety for a start. I am rethinking the balance for the mod, so this will be revisited again. Don't expect to see a asimple expansion on what V2 offers;
    3) Custom campaign. With major help from a fellow modder (developer of "War of 1812" mod) a custom campaign is being worked on. I will prepare and article to show the progress on this soon. AoR will be completely remade to accommodate the new campaign once the core features are in place and tested.

    Stay tuned

    Yes,sadly I am forced to postpone the release.

    Work takes away most of my time in the recent months and I have not been able to dedicate as much time to modding as expected.

    Hi, I was just checking the downloads for this to update the ETW mods wiki table and noticed there's a version 3 on MODDB

    I'm hoping to do a small wiki feature on ETW mods that are still ongoing 10 years after release so would love to know if you have any other plans for the mod

    I've just come across this mod, I did a lot of reskins for Toon in his TAR mod. Incredible work you have done well done. The question is there a compatible version that works with Imperial splendour?, Sorry if this is a noob question, I've just got back into ETW, so been out the loop for a while. I did a lot of historical research for TAR mod with regards to the Hessian reg... and other forces.
