can not extract new part 1

for some strange reason i can not extract the new par 1 file. i still have the old one and it extracts just fine. get this error message

Have you tried using winrar? Perhaps its a problem with 7zip. I use winrar and dont seem to have this problem

Have you tried the mirror site also? I have no problem using 7z, maybe i am using an older or newer version?

wait - do you try to unzip the pack file itself? For me it looks so (on your screenshot)
maybe you have already unzipped the file - all you need is to put the pack in your main Rome 2 folder....

if i'm wrong, then it's maybe a corrupt download

Yeah. You need to extract the 7zip file to the Rome II data folder. You cannot extract the "open" file as when it is displaying the files contained in the zip file. I think Ritter is right.

I have used 7zip for ages and i can still unzip the old down load which i still ave in my download folder. Anyway i downloaded winrar and it extracted just fine. Maybe i need to update 7zip. Thanks for you reply guys
