    Default Longbow spikes

    So I keep seeing people talking about setting up spiked barriers with longbow troops, but I cant see how to do it. Is it some formation setting I'm not seeing?

    Sorry if this has been asked, I didnt see it anywhere.

    It is the unit's special ability. If you look on the bottom right corner of your screen where the guard mode, etc. are it should be by that. I think only a couple of longbow units have it though.

    I always see "Flaming Arrows" there. I've seen that on Longbowmen, Yeomen, Retinue Longbowmen, and Sherwood Longbowmen. Am I missing something?

    Zarg you may only enable it in the Setup mode. If you have already begun the battle you may not place stakes.

    You have to do it before battle, in the deployment phase.

    Yes that took me a long time to notice to,and sometimes sadly i still rush it and dont do it.
