Correct me if I'm wrong, but in this time period there was weariness if no wars were currently waged![]()
i was thinking it could work as more of an inflation type scripting.
A ported script from Attila is available here. It is easy to make it work with DeI.
We discussed the subject and currently we won't add it into our campaign systems. The next big addition in terms of gameplay changers will be the Manpower system.
I think war weariness is already somewhat present with the economical effects of recruiting and upholding armies.
But one of the most interesting concepts is the one from the Greeks at War team, recently renamed into Hellenika (Ἑλληνικά)^^
I also certainly will look into the link Litharion provided, looks interesting enough!
Best regards
Edit: Here´s another link to another mod from the same author as Litharion mentioned, rather cool^^
Btw who knew that Charlemagne´s war weariness was written by .Mitch.? xD

But does it really make sense historically? It seems like something rather anachronistic and more suited to present times and liberal democracy. The Roman society was very used to war, after all they were fighting pretty much all the time and long periods of peace were rather rare until Pax Romana. Triumphs were huge public fetes and gladiatorial games were very popular. Not to mention that wars brought slaves and money.
Greeks, too, were fighting all the time. As for barbarians - well, I don't think most of them they knew the term "war weariness" at all.
