The familytree and familynames

I would like to ask if it seems to be possible at all to alter the familytree in a way that sons have the family name of the fathers? Having the Theodosian Dynasty and not inheriting the name Flavius which they had is quite stange. Its one of the few things that really bothers me from the vanilla game. One of the coolest features in Europa Barbarorum for Rome 1 was to build up an Dynasty with dynamic names. Actually i would be just happy if the sons would inherit the familyname of the fathers, but it would be even cooler if the Generals could aquire titles like Germanicus or Africanus.

So my question is if something of it is even possible and further if it is wanted from the Dev team.

Those are currently apart of the startpos, so there before. Apologies but maybe ABH could answer better on the names. We would love to add the cognomen in the future, similar to what EB has done in the past, but not sure if that is possible...yet.
