    Default Tips on province management

    Playing as rome.
Any ideas what are the best province templates for making maximum money?

    I have italia,magna graecia,cisalpina,raeticanoricum,corsica-sardinia,africa,phazania and mauretania.

    Till now cisalpina,raetica,corsica=full food

Italy still mixed =commerce generally with traders, ports, amphora plus 2 farms and a barracks
Magna graecia is commerce with traders, amphora, ports -i feel maybe africa is better?
Africa -largely food but still 4 ports. How best to utilize this province?
    Phazania -food.

What to do with mauretania? In vanilla and radious i use this as industry province with mines, vulcan temples and industry capital buildings..but here i see provincial settlements with timber don't have same bonuses?

I am now ready to specialize in more detial ,but first time i'm playing this mod.

So if u can help with 2 other things - this supply depot thing.I have one in carthage and one in cisalpina.Do i need the one in carthage?I am campaigning in iberia now...after thats over can i scrap?

Another question -what good is sanitation buildings..in what kind of province specialization can they be useful?Same for new yellow buildings..i only find trader useful because of commerce bonuses?

Finally ,how good is the new sell slaves..how make most money using this thing..right now im using tax edict everywhere. Can sell slaves be better than industry or commerce province?

    Thanks.

As its been a long long time since I played the mod (too busy testing) I really cannot help you with how to max out provinces. Especially since I never play as Rome
But you might be able to find some good guides here --> http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forum...ay-Discussions
The only advice I can give is this. Make good use of dignitaries (governors) and champions. Dignitaries must be deployed in a province which will add to your income and through different skills (as he gets experience) can be used to further increase your income. Some skills will add to farming other to industry meaning that you can pick different skills for different dignitaries depending on what region he is deployed in.
Champions are good for reducing army upkeep
Its not much but they can both add a little to your overall income.

You can through the info tab see how big of a slave population you have in a province. If this population is high you can benefit from either building a slave trader or if you control the entire region you can choose the edict to Sell slaves. You cannot control where the slaves are send to and therefore it might not be beneficial to take slaves everytime you win a battle, at least not in the early game where you only have a few provinces
