Map fully revealed?

I see alot of peoples screen shots where the whole map is revealed and they can see who owns what, etc. Is there a way to do this? I d like to know whats goin on in the world without having to have 3000000 spies

Use the console key - ' - on my comp, then type toggle_fow.

Console key could be the key just below Esc - ` -, or the tilda key - ~ -.

Removing the fog of war is not really cheating, I personally find the game alot more interesting when I can watch the rise and fall of other nations on the other side of the map.

yeah.. but then you will also see units of your enemy/neighbors on their way to attacking you without the need to build watchtowers and spies.. you wont ever get surprise attacked if you use this.

its a cheat.
