Before trying to do this on my own, I figured I would ask if anyone has ever tried/done this.

In a formation of units, is it possible to reserve the 1v1 and certain kill animations to say, only the caption of the formation? Further, if it would be possible to do it for the captain, maybe the standard bearer as well.

My thought is that by limiting standard units in a formation to the basic att/def animations, and maybe a low frequency special kill. Having a high frequency of duel/kill animations for just the captain of the formation would make that character 1. Look like a badass juxtaposed to the standard units using the basic cut/thrust. 2. When two captains met, it would look less odd for a bunch of other soldiers to just be standing around watching. These are the two captains, they might draw a crowd if they fight.
