Works great under linux port. You just need to unpack with everything in lower case (use -cl option of unrar).

Rename the folder to ‘wotn’ and move it into the mod folder run the game with --features.mod=mods/wotn and it works great ^^.

Where are the credits for the music? It’s great I wannt them in my playlist and thank the artist for the great work.

The credits should be in the article on mod-db. The Vikings TV-series, and a music sub-mod for "The Last Kingdom" -where i borrowed some songs for the other non-viking factions. Then i also used some authentic historical folk-songs for the Norse, Gautland/Gutland, Kwenland/Häme, balts/slavs/Rus and the Franks.

I've never played Wrath of the Norsemen before, and I also believe I should be playing as one of the Norse factions, but I took the Wends (Slava rodu what can I say). Their roster seems to be poor, but the soundtrack and the visuals of the mod, even though the map could be more illustrated, are just so drawing. I really hope this mod will expand further. Nygren, may the gods guide you to Valhalla, the soundtrack is awesome.

Yes, there are some factions in need of more units. I was going to learn everything about moding M2TW:K but got lazy all of a sudden, maybe i will get back into it- i had done some more work on this mod, like changing attributes for all Norse factions. I may go back to this mod soon, as my original plan was to change attributes, add new units, fix missing descriptions and pictures, add new music for every separate faction, fix some bugs and then finally change the berserkers into berserker-units.

But i got a little off after the many CTD:s when changing too much at my first attempt. This time around i will take a slower pace changing stuff around. I also plan to make Kvenland and Hämä separate factions with their units divided, but they may still hire each others units as mercs.

Thanks for your comment regarding the soundtrack. The point of it was to give the mod a Vikings-feeling to it. But i may have exceeded those original goals by adding more music than just Vikings-themed music to the mod.

Just to thank you for the mod, and it's great that you continue to work on it, even if little by little (sometimes it's better, one step at a time). With Wrath of the Norsemen, the Last Kingdom and when/if The Great Conflicts is released, I think we now have a very good group of mods about the Early Middle Ages, which is a period somewhat neglected by games (and mods). Furthermore, 3 mods focusing in complementary geographical areas, and slightly different chronologies, which is even better.

Yeah sure, you are free to help in any way you see fit. You can post your contriubutions and i may add them into the mod. It's not abandoned but i am busy on another matter at the moment which i started before. When i am done with that project for FF7 i will return to this mod.

Hello. yes it is possible. You should create a dropbox account and upload them there and then you can send me the links.

You can also post the files here but i think it's easier throught the drop-box system if it's like pictures and other stuff. Cool stuff man, have you tested playing around with these files without CTD:s?

Ok, i will start working with the dropbox since it will be a lot easier than just cramming them one by one.I have modded the original wotn beta 1.5.I have tested every change i did and i was able to eliminate ctds.I had enabled the crash test log when ctds came, it was lot easier to know where the bugs where.Triggers dont cause any ctds.Thanks for the compliments

Hey guys, so I saved this to the Medieval II Total War/mods folder and then changed the name to WotN. But then when I double click on the batch file, I get an error window saying, "Windows cannot find 'kingdoms.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again." What should I do?
