    Default Achievements???

I was thinking that what I mostly prefer in the Old Medieval compared to Rome and Medieval 2 was the option of winning the campaign by achieving key landmarks unique to each kingdom! This option added flavour and realism to each kingdom and also added unique styles of play. Now,your only option is imperialistic powerplay!Every kingdom has the same goal. Most of them even have to conquer the same city!Jerusalem! What has Jeruslame to do with Russians?I thought they dreamt of conquering Constantinople!!!Actually its the only thing I miss from Medievals glorious days and I think that If CA could add this option to a patch or an expansion the game would be perfect(along with some AI and diplomacy improvements).Am I the only one who has the fondest of memories from this option??

    I miss the Achievments too
    Its a shame.
I dont like this whole conquer the worl thing(Was ok of course for Shogun and RTW)
You ask for steak, I bring you fish. You say that you think steak is better than fish. I say that fish is much more popular than steak so obviously it's better. You say that no matter how good the fish is it can't be better at being steak than the actual steak we used to serve. I say that's just your perception and you're entitled to it but you should accept that fish is the future and that's good. You begin to say something but I stab you in the eye with a fork and run into the kitchen.

    you are SO right.

once i control so many provinces that i actually cannot remember half of them, and have so many generals that they seem like peasants to me, the campaign starts to bore me a lot and becomes something like sheer work. i dont see any fun in controlling 35 regions. let alone keeping track of 26 merchants and the like.

in rtw i started to make my own victory conditions at some point, but i always missed the achievments.
