Default The missing late era weapon. The Poleaxe.

Great fan of the mod, looks like some of the best work that have been done on here since Stainless Steel.

One thing that bugs me though, from the previews, is that it seem every western European knight unit both early and late has the same weapon and shield combo. I'd really like to see more late era weapons on units that are wearing plate armor. Especially I find the Poleaxe is missing largely except that one heavy infantry unit from Aragon. The poleaxe was very much a knightly weapon and there exist fighting forms for the weapon especially minted on the knightly class.

    Spoiler for Some vids

I find it a bit jarring that late plate armored knights are still hanging on to shields in an era where shields historically became less and less common on the battlefield among the knightly class and men-at-arms. Arming more late knightly units with poleaxes would demonstrate this change in fighting style towards two handed weapons, and also give knights the punching power that should have versus other kind of infantry and cavalry rather than being another heavy infantry defensive unit.

Also the Longsword might be worth considering but that might fall outside the time period.

    How about these guys ?

Oh, btw, they foreshadow an upcoming faction preview, specifically the high and late era units. There was a preview already for the early era units ... any guesses what this faction might be ?

Ltd, you never cease to amaze! Could I suggest a variant of this that replaces the mail with gambeson, and perhaps another that replaces mail/the undertunic with heraldry/nation's colors? Also, Ive seen you guys do wonders with that gothic armor, and I was wondering if you've also incorporated the mount and blade model for the milanese plate armor?
