Three suggestions for next versions:
First of all, let me say a big kudos for everyone involved in creating this mod. It truly change twr 2 from the core, and I can honestly say DEI is the best ancient warfare simulation out there.
Few thing I thought could be cool for next versions:
1. Adding "pushing" animations for siege weapons- seeing siege towers, rams and ladders being "force pushed" really brings me out of immersion. We already have pushing animations for ballistas, so why not implement this to other siege engines?
2. Changing javelin throwing animations of skirmishers to infantry throwing animations - skirmishers throw javelins without moving their lags, and it looks kind of lame. Javelin supposed to have weight, and throwing them is supposed to look something like Olympic javelins throwers, and not like throwing a paper airplanes. The good thing is - we already have this animation - with legionnaires, thorax, etc.
3. Allowing armies to flee from settlement battles - I really don't get why settlements become like super security prisons when you are attacked. It makes sense when you are besieged in big fortified city battles, but why can't I run away with my full nomad army form a tiny village?

Re: Three suggestions for next versions:
1: I wish we could, as even Rome 1 had pushing animations for all siege equipment, it's stupid that sucha thing wasn't in Rome 2 at launch. I am not sure if it is possible to edit, someone else will have to answer that. It has been brought up internally as well though.
3: Actually plenty of times in history small villages turned into virutual deathcamps/prisons. Alexander the great would often station cavalry outside the exists to a village ahead of his main army to run down anyone attempting to flee. He did this both against the sythians and in his indian campains.
Main reason is engine limitations though.
