Default Turning the Ostrogoths in to a romanized Kingdom

I am currently working on that but all i got was a western roman copycat with units from the Belisar campaign, which means that the Generals all look western roman. Not bad but not satisfying since the generals use also roman shields which looks stupid.

If in the faction table i change the ostrogoth subculture in to roman like the Ostrogothic kingdom than i have only the roman techtree, but the buildings to research are all missing, which wouldn't be a problem because i can write them in to the tree, but more akward the skins of my generals are missing. On the campaign map i just have the upper body. Does someone know what i miss?

Another good question would be how to take over the techtree from the Ostrogothic kingdome in to the Ostrogothic faction. Or is there no other way than doing it manually line per line?
