Default Getting game running with steam

I've installed ss 6.3/.4 into the folder the launcher tells me too.
I've then used the steam mod fixer .bat which has renamed an exe to kingdoms in the main folder.

However the launcher still says that it cannot find kingdoms.exe

Simply go to the main folder, click on medieval 2.exe, copy and paste it into the same folder and rename it kingdoms.exe.
    It worked for me..

This did not work for me... "Medieval 2 suffered a fatal error and will now exit"
And it crashes to desktop. Bastard.
