Default Change term of office length

Howdy. Can anyone tell me where to edit the number of turns a noble or family member will remain in office once appointed?

    TIA!

its in the ministerial positions file/db. You 'll have to use BoB i think.

Thanks for the response. I found the ministerial positions table using PFM, but I didn't see a value that looked appropriate. I've only ever used PFM and EditSF. I'm not familiar with BoB (though I'm sure he's a nice guy).

Can you explain what BoB is? A forum search on that yields no results, as it's too common.

Okay, looks like it's part of the Assembly Kit. Guess I'll look into using that.

    EDIT

Hmm, it looks like BOB is for editing textures, models and animations. DaVE is for editing DB entries, according to wiki.totalwar.com. Guess I'll look into DaVE.

I got to use TWeak, DaVE, AND BOB! I never knew!

One question though, and this is important. If BOB stands for "Build On One Button", shouldn't we rightly be referring to this app as BOOB? Thanks for the mere mention of BOB Hasty_. It led to lots of fun discovery for me. And I'm sure there will be more to come....

I also learned that the assembly kit doesn't like it if you have additional directories added to your data directory. PFM had no such prejudices, but I guess I can't rightly complain. Just glad it occurred to me to remove the additional directory.

EDIT - Wow, so much stuff at my fingertips with this tool. Things that I've wondered how to do for a while, I was able to figure out in minutes just by browsing DB tables, and finding a nice, simple interface to make the changes I want. Creating office requirements and terms that were a happy medium between original Attila and Charlemagne was a snap once I had a basic grasp of the tools. I'll be playing 12 turns per year, so 48 turns (4 years) doesn't seem too unreasonable. And a few tweaks on the requirements to obtain the offices, were icing on the cake. Also some minor adjustments of number of agents per imperium level. Very nice! =)

And I know I've just not even scratched the surface yet. It seems CA outdid themselves. Too bad this tool won't be present for TW:WH.
